Ocean Reef Senior High School provides students
with a range of computer and internet facilities including a Library
computing lab, 2 general labs and up to 4 work stations in each
classroom. |
Computer use policy
All students must conduct themselves appropriately at all times while
using computer facilities.
All students must adhere to the following:
- Floppy disks/CD's etc are not to be used without the explicit permission
of your teacher
- The Internet and email is not to be used without the explicit permission
of your teacher.
- There is to be no downloading of files of any type from the internet
other than work files that your teacher directs you to save.
- You may only use software/applications that your teacher has specifically
authorised you to use.
- No food or drink or bags in the computer rooms.
- Treat all computer equipment with care and respect.
- Report any faults and damage immediately to your teacher at the
start of the lesson. Apply appropriate health and safety practices
at all times.
- Always preview your work before printing. Excessive printing of
any document will be charged at the rate of 10c per page and may lead
to printing rights being removed.You may only print work that has
been authorised by your teacher to print.
