Specialist Programs
Ocean Reef SHS offers a number of special programs to cater for the special interests and aptitudes of its students.
There are two Approved Specialist Programs, these being:
Contemporary Music Specialist Program
Marine Studies Specialist Program
Specialist Learning Program – Autism (SLP)
This program caters for students in Years 7 to 12, who have a diagnosis of High- Functioning Autism.

Academic Extension Program
This program brings together like minded, highly academically capable students, fostering the development of their talents as well as caring for their social and emotional needs.

Soccer
The school also boasts a Soccer program which has been successful in winning numerous state and international soccer trophies.

Cadets WA
Cadets at Ocean Reef participate in a range of activities that develop leadership and life skills, and a sense of community responsibility and service. There are two Cadet WA units at the school:
- Emergency Services Cadets
- Surf Lifesaving Cadets
