The Health and Physical Education Learning Area at Ocean Reef Senior High School aims to develop in our students the understanding, and skills needed to take positive action to protect, enhance, and advocate for their own and others’ health and wellbeing throughout their lives.
Students develop and use skills and strategies to promote a sense of personal identity, wellbeing, and manage respectful relationships. Our students acquire, apply, and evaluate movement skills, concepts, and strategies enabling them to respond confidently, competently, and creatively in a variety of physical activity contexts and settings.
In Years 7-10 all students participate in Physical Education and Health classes where they engage in, and enjoy regular movement- based learning.
