Basketball Program

The Basketball Program at Ocean Reef Senior High School (ORSHS) welcomes enthusiastic and dedicated players who wish to improve their skills and knowledge of the game. We expect our players to have a strong level of skill to be selected, but we also place a high level of importance on the strength of character of our athletes. The ORSHS Basketball Program is designed for those players who wish to build on their existing capabilities and potentially pursue higher levels of achievement within the sport.

Please note that students accepted into programs for Year 7 commit to continuing in the program until the end of Year 10. Our vision is for the Year 10s to participate in an interstate or overseas tour/tournament.

Students can further their achievement in basketball in Years 11 and 12 by enrolling in Physical Education Studies (ATAR or General) courses which can be used towards their WACE. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in the Senior All Schools basketball tournaments.
