NEW Performing Arts Centre update

14th May | By Louise Goodall

In May 2018 the Premier Mark McGowan announced State budget funding of $5 million for our school to support the building of a new Performing Arts Centre, within the school site. This new facility will enable students to explore their creative talents and support opportunities for the local community to attend student productions in a purpose built theatre.

The School Board has been working closely with the Department of Education and architects to develop design plans for the new building, its location within the school grounds and the facilities to be included. Various surveys have been done to determine the best location for the new building and to minimise impact to existing landscape and plans are now available for our local community to view.  Plans include details on the site of the new building, landscaping and some land works which will impact on a small number of trees.

Artist and design plans are available for members of our local community to view at the school via the main administration office between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday for the next two weeks. They can also be viewed via our school website The opportunity for feedback or to discuss issues with the Department of Education or a member of the Executive Team is also available.

Building work is due to commence mid to late July 2019 with completion and opening of the new facility in July 2020. Every attempt will be made to minimise disruption to our neighbours and community. Information on progress and updates will be posted on the school website as the building works progress. Should you have any questions, please contact:
