In order for students to develop their leadership skills, we encourage them to self-nominate for a position on our Student Council. Student Councillors meet on a regular basis and are called upon to assist staff with various activities and events throughout the year, including an involvement in fundraising and social events. Our Student Councillors are the voice for the student population and will raise initiatives and awareness to promote a positive school culture.
Peer mentoring program aims to promote school connectedness between year groups as well as improving key skills of our younger students.
Towards the end of Year 9, students are provided with the opportunity to become a Transition Leader, working with our incoming Year 6 students to support them in their transition to high school.
